Approved by the State Council of China and co-sponsored by National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Commerce of PRC and other nine Central government level departments, together with 12 western provinces and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, the Western China International Economy and Trade Fair has been successfully held for nine years. It is an important platform for Western China to promote Western Development, further opening up and to accelerate the exchanges and cooperation with Pan-Asia Area.
The 10th Western China International Economy and Trade Fair will be held in Chengdu China from October 16 to 20, 2009. The theme is “seizing the opportunity, facing the challenge, opening-up and cooperation, synergy and development.”
